The worker app

Hands on the goods.
Eyes on the aisle.

The VoiceXtreme app runs on the rugged Android handhelds you already use. It speaks the next task, hears the answer, and gets out of the way. The worker’s attention stays on the work, not on a screen.

In the worker’s hand

One step at a time. Out loud.

The app speaks the next instruction and listens for the reply. When the worker does glance down, the screen shows exactly one thing: what matters right now.

Voice confirm
Say the number. The app hears it right there on the device.

Confirmed, and on to the next task.

Multilingual

One floor, many languages.

Mixed, seasonal and temporary crews rarely share a first language. With VoiceXtreme they don’t have to. Every worker runs the same workflow in their own language. The flow stays the same, only the voice changes.

  • 7 languages in production, and growing. Set per worker, not per device.
  • No voice training. No profiles to build, nothing to enroll. New people just start talking.
  • The app speaks it too. Screens and prompts follow the worker’s language, not the device’s.
  • Comfort travels with the person. Prompt speed and confirmation beeps are the worker’s own settings, on whichever handheld they pick up.

On the floor

Built for a loud, moving floor.

A warehouse is noisy, fast and physical. The app is built for that, and for the hardware and headsets you already run.

  • It knows what it’s listening for. At every step the app expects only the answers that make sense right then. A busy aisle doesn’t turn into wrong picks.
  • It waits its turn. The app speaks, then listens. It never talks over the worker or mistakes its own prompt for an answer.
  • Headsets, handled. Bluetooth headsets reconnect on their own, the handheld’s mic steps in when needed, and the screen always shows which one is live.
  • Scanning, in the same flow. Built-in scanner, ring scanner or camera. A scan lands in the same step a spoken answer would.
  • Keeps going. Recognition happens on the handheld, so answers are instant and a patchy corner of the building doesn’t pause the shift. Anything to report back is sent when the network returns.
  • Picks up where it left off. If a device restarts mid-run, the same worker can resume exactly where they stopped.
